Our Story

Founded in 1967, C&H has grown from modest beginnings to a leading-edge electrical services firm fueled by a passion to deliver high quality solutions. Our History


1967

C&H Electric was founded by Robert A. Cordeau

1970

Robert A.'s son, Robert B. Cordeau joins C&H Electric

1971

C&H Electric begins focus on the healthcare property market

1977

C&H Electric constructs St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT – solidifying C&H’s deep functional expertise in healthcare

1980

Robert B. became President of C & H Electric

1994

C&H begins working with Yale New Haven Hospital

1996

Completes design/build engine manufacturing plant for Pratt & Whitney, expanding C&H Electric’s experience serving mission critical facilities

2007

Begins offsite and prefabrication capability to drive efficiency for customers

2014

Dan Mahieu joins as Senior Vice President

2018

Robert B. and Dan are sole stockholders for C&H Electric

2020

Dan Mahieu promoted to President and Robert B. becomes Chairman of the Board

2021

Dan Mahieu as President & under new ownership, C&H begins acting as trusted advisor to customers on the upcoming energy transition
