Mr.
Cordeau currently resides in Wolcott, CT with his wife Mary Ann and
their two daughters Mary Elizabeth and Roberta. Mr. Cordeau attended
Sacred Heart High School, W.F Kaynor Vocational Tech and Waterbury
State Technical College.
Mr.
Cordeau grew up in the family business becoming a full time employee in
1972. After having served as an electrician, foreman, estimator,
and project manager, he became the President of C & H Electric,
Inc. in 1983. As President, he directs the entire operation of
the company. He oversees all projects from bidding and contract
negotiations through commissioning and project close out.
Mr.
Cordeau's focus on the construction industry is evident by his active
participation in a number of construction associations. C & H
Electric joined ABC in 1978. Since joining ABC, Mr. Cordeau has been
actively involved in both the CT ABC Chapter and National.
Mr. Cordeau's past service to the CT ABC Chapter includes:
- Board of Directors (17 years)
- Membership Committee Chairman (3 years)
- Chapter President (1987)
- Various other committees
Mr. Cordeau's past service to National ABC includes:

- ABC Insurance Trust Chairman (2 years)
Mr. Cordeau has also been a representative of the CT ABC Chapter at both National Conventions and Regional Meetings.
Mr.
Cordeau is currently serving his fourth year on the National Electrical
Contractors Council and his third year on the Planning and Futuring
Committee. In addition to his service to ABC CT Chapter and National,
Mr. Cordeau is an active member of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of
Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for the University of
Hartford Construction Institute.
